Early in the second half, the sunshine disappeared and clouds as black as coal signalled another thunderstorm. As the lightening crashed all around us, the atmosphere heated up. A powercut killed the floodlights and finished the game, although it re-started 15 minutes later.
A la 2eme mi-temps, le soleil et les 37 degres ont laisse place a un enorme orage.. du jamais vu ! Pluie, vent fort, la nuit est tombee d'un coup de baguette magique et pour couronner le tout, coupure de courant !! C'est alors que le stade s'est enflamme !!! Ce soir on vous met le feu.. c'etait carrement ca !

Il a connu ses debuts avec la coupe du monde de 1950 et accueillera de nouveau la coupe du monde en 2014. Ce soir, c'etait un match Flamengo (l'equipe que nous soutenons) contre Fluminense (Fla-Flu!)
Welcome to the Maracana, the biggest stadium in the world, even though it opened 58 years ago for the 1950 world cup. In 2014, it will again host the final. Tonight its a big local derby, the Fla-Flu (our team Flamengo against Fluminense).
